Our West Africa Partnership

Since Citylight North planted in 2019, we've been in an ongoing partnership with a missionary team in West Africa. This relationship isn't just a program — it's a real connection we've invested in year after year. We go to encourage the workers there, learn from them, and play whatever role we can in the work God is doing through them. Once a year, we send a team to be with them in person.

Every three years, several of the missionary couples return to the States for a year — and some of them call Citylight North home during that time. It's one of the ways this partnership has woven itself into the life of our church over the years.

Upcoming Trip | September 26 – October 3, 2026

This year's trip is open to anyone who wants to come. We'll teach English, share skills and hobbies with the community, and spend time genuinely getting to know the culture and people. You don't have to be considering long-term missions to join us — though if that question is somewhere in the back of your mind, this is a good place to bring it.
